Work? Holiday?

Ok technically I'm over here in Dubai for work however apart from the late nights it feels a bit more like a holiday. I have only had the chance to go shopping once and ran out of time but managed to find a few t-shirts but that's about it. Will hopefully get the chance to go shopping tomorrow night and will look for a new camera for me and an MP3 player for Jen. Hopefully I'll also get a chance to buy a few other things, like more t-shirts and any other fun stuff I can find.

The food here is brilliant although with it being Ramadan you can't eat or drink in public between about 6am and 6pm and in town at 6pm there is a mad rush for the food stores.

I have also been very good and running about 4kms most days which is no easy feat in 35+ degrees temperature (and that's between 8 and 9pm!). During the day it has been reaching 45+ but that's not so bad as there is usually less then 10% humidity however in the evening as the temperature goes down the humidity shoots up to about 70-80%.

I wanted to post some pictures of the trip on the way up however that may just have to wait until I get home. Plus I'll have a bit more time to tell you about it then.

Well for now people keep behaving yourselves or Santa might forget to bring presents home to NZ and that wouldn't be good at all. Take care.

BYE BYE

I'm off to Dubai tomorrow for 4 weeks!! so I thought I best post before I go. Poor Brett will have 4 straight weeks of Everquest! He might need one of these:

I will have internet access over there so will try and post as often as I can I'll put photos on too if I get the chance so watch this space.

Nothing much is happening, I was in Auckland last week for work and Brick got fixed on Monday, that is about it. I'm sure I'll have much more to say when I'm gallivanting around the world. BYE.
